November 2026

From the Principal

Socorro Yañez, Principal

Dear Newbery Family,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for parent-teacher conferences. It is always great to have families in our building, and your involvement sends a powerful message to your child that their education matters. Building strong relationships with families is important to us, and conferences are one of the many ways we work together to support each child’s growth and success. Please continue to reach out anytime you have questions or want to check in on your child’s progress.

I also want to thank you for the generosity and kindness you continue to show toward families and causes in our community. As a former Newbery student, I know firsthand how much that support can mean. It is special to see that same spirit of giving continue today, and I appreciate the difference you make for others.

As we move into November, we will continue working together to help every student grow, feel connected, and experience success at school. Thank you for being an important part of the Newbery community and for all you do to support our students.

Go Jaguars!
